From the village railway on a freight path to the Inner Parpfienzalpe, the starting point of the Parpfienz Circular Path. Shortly after the Alpe we turn off the path towards Niggenkopf and walk up the valley on the south side of the Lorenzitäli. At the highest point of the hike we cross the brook, from there a driveway below extensive mountain pine fields leads back to the Parpfienzalpe. This hike is particularly worthwhile in early summer due to the splendour of the flowers. The flora in this area was already praised by botanists in the 19th century. Tip: Instead of the goods route Dorfbahn – Parpfienzalpe we recommend the “barefoot path”. Starting point: mountain station Dorfbahn Brand

Walking time: approx. 1.25 hours
